DEPARTED

DEPARTED was initially founded back in the beginning of 2005 by Maciek (guitar), Blaszak (bass), and Vipold (drums). During that year, due to various circumstances the crew changed, but since the fall of that year the line-up has remained the same: Pavel (lead guitar), Qba (rhythm guitar), Morwin (bass guitar), and Vipold (drums).
Throughout the whole following year DEPARTED tirelessly tested hordes of vocalist-wannabes, until Rob (former band: Vaintroth) joined in November 2006. From then our music changed a lot - songs got slightly faster and more technical, vocal parts have given more aggression to the music.
After countless rehearsals, we recorded our first "DEMO"* in May 2007. Now we're preparing for our first concerts - in Pretekst and Progresja clubs, and then - during the summer - in the rest of (hopefully not only) local clubs.
The main thing that links us is metalcore, but in fact every one of us likes different kinds of music - from core sound, through melodeath and progressive music to old school thrash/death/black metal. Although we consider ourselves as a part of the huge currently metalcore community, with such variety of influences, DEPARTED's objective is to create something new in the metalcore scheme.
